Tb medication started
Hi sir / madam my name is Shivshankar my age is 23 i am using tb medication since last 1 month 10 days completed doctors recommended me to keep the mask when you are in home or outside can i remove my mask now as i am continuing my tablet daily please suggest me.

Hello You should wear a mask till cough reduces  significantly and sputum for AFB is negative. Get a sputum for AFB at the end of 2 nd month.

Pl wear mask upto 2 months,till you complete intensive course,and get tested.if sputum is negative, you can remove the mask for short periods in the house only.It is advisable to use mask regularly.
