Taking insulin everyday
My friend was treated with pseudocyst in 2005 when she was 15 years of age. Surgery was done and some part of the pancreas was removed. In 2016, she had jaundice and stomach pain was there. So doctors advised her to take insulin every day. Now she is taking insuline since last one year everyday and may be she has to take insulin for the rest of her life. My question is, does taking insulin everyday shorten life span...? Will it create problems in the future..?

As long as the dose is adequate, regular checkups are done and her sugar level is maintained within the normal range,  it will not create any problems for her.
