Taken anti rabies dose 7 days after bite
My 5 month old Shi tzu dog has been given vaccine 2 times but it did not include any rabies dose as the vet said it can be given after 6 moths only
1 week back she bit me in the thumb, then I just applied dettol and cleaned the area from where blood came.
But on Friday I noticed swelling in my upper thumb and pain whenever I was touching the skin below the nail.
So I got frightened and took the 1st anti rabies dose and TT dose as well.
But I am in fear that taking the vaccine after 7 days of dog bite will be beneficial or not or I will contract rabies.
I am immensely petrified.
