Tacliment Eye ointment burning sensation
Hi Dr, My son has frequent occurrences of eye allergy and Dr prescribed tacliment Eye ointment. My son is complaining of burning sensation in eyes sometimes . Is this common . Just wanted to check before I get the dr appointment.

Yes Tacrolimus can lead to burning sensation And light sensitivity. Start cold compression ice pack massage 5 times in a day

Avoid rubbing Maintain hygiene Blink more Drink water adequately Cold compression Cold water lavage Follow rule of 20- Means after 20 min of work ,take rest for 20 sec and look at 20feet distance Reduce brightness of the screen Away from AC Airflow Use lubricant drop- refresh liquigel Wear glasses outside Take nuts for essential fatty acids (Omega 3) Avoid second hand smoke May need physical consultation for thorough slit lamp examination
