Tachycardia
I got 2 episodes of tachycardia with in a year. Rfa was failed due to heart muscle thickening. After that single chamber ICD was implanted few days back. Pl advice me precautions and food habits. How long can I live

Avoid foodstuffs and things which can potentially cause tachycardia like tea coffee chocolates smoking alcohol etc Take your drugs regularly Hopefully you should do well with we all these things Dr Ashish Srivastava General Physician and Clinical Cardiologist

Hello..... Avoid oily food items, High cholesterol, high blood, high blood glucose level , are risk factors for heart function... So maintain them within normal limits... Worry ,anxiety, fear can increase heart rate.. So be calm and cool... Your life expectancy depends on your lifestyle..
