Systolic dysfunction
My mother age 55 had swelling in feet and burning issues and pain in back i consulted near by hospotal they tested ecg it was not normal then they suggested for echo cardiography in which LVEF was found 48% further i have not tested any thing she is saying feeling normal but i want to know what should i do before to this my mother never had any problem like this what care should be taken in fooding eating should she do exercise or not or what kind of exercise what should i do further pls suggest

As you told her LVEF is 48% then slight less than normal, cause should be look into. Consult a cardiologist for further evaluation to rule out any blockages in arteries of heart. TMT or stress echo should be done. For backache orthopaedic consult is needed
