Syphillis Question
I was recently diagnosed with syphillis after an STD screening 2.5 weeks ago. I hadn't noticed any symptoms and was told my FTA ABS value was 512. I started penicillin injections this week. After paying closer attention to the genital area, I noticed lighter colored spots (painless, some oval shaped) on the scrotum. 1) are these spots part of the STD? I couldn't find a pic online that looked like what I have so I wasn't sure. Def. weren't there a month ago. 2) what stage is STD in w/ 512#?
