Symptoms of glaucoma
I went to the doctor for checkup and took tests for glaucoma. The doctor advised me to take regular drops for lifelong since its the starting stage for glaucoma. I'm confused whether to take it or consult with other doctor. What it the treatment for this..? And i want to know the diet plan also...? Is there any side affects it taking drops lifelong.

If someone has Frequent change of number, heaviness etc and gets regular eye check up,And during examination. Iop is found to be raised marginally then detailed evaluation should be done before starting the treatment and if Oct and field changes are contributory then treatment has to be carried out.secondly if there is history of prolong use of steroids then also there might be raised iop which if neglected may turn into glaumatous changes. So it will be better to have a second opinion especially from a glaucoma specialist.

Next Steps
the first line of treatment is medication if it is open angle type of glaucoma and medicines have to be taken life long .
Health Tips
