Glaucoma suspect
Hi doctors can you please guide us about the storage of the medicine of glaucoma? Many many lectures, session, awareness, survival stories are there. But in Indian climate how to maintain them always under 25 degee C , it's very difficult for a young professional who is surviving with this. What you recommend to do for maintaining the efficacy of the medicine ? Please reply. Thanks .

Hello sir, Very valid question There are various types of anti glaucoma Medications and not all of them need to be kept under refrigeration. Usually the class of prostaglandin analogues (PGA) like Travoprost, Latanoprost and Bimatoprost are the ones which need refrigeration. But these days lot of new brands of PGA have come which can be stored at normal room temperature
