Swollen Tonsils
I have had swollen tonsils for 3 1/2 weeks now. I have gone through 2 rounds of antibiotics and now they seem to be getting worse again. My throat is in so much pain, low grade fever, no energy etc. Is it common for them to take so long to go down?

It is unlikely that infection of tonsils stays for a month. You may be suffering from reflux laryngopharyngitis which is type of acidity related disorder. You may need to take anti reflux medications for few weeks for long term benefits
Next Steps
Consult nearby ENT specialist for confirmation of diagnosis and appropriate treatment if required
