I had posterior superficial cervical lymph node swelling (1.2*0.7cm) for 8 months. Size has not changed . It is bit hard and moveable. I can literally feel the whole node from starting to end nd also from other side. It is very close to skin. Ws painfull before but not now Fnac done five months ago which said non specific reactive lymphadenitis.Can it be lymphoma or metastatic cancer. I was told that node from infection settle in one month. So i was worried.

Malignant lymph nodes grow in size. Reactive lymphadenitis of that size, sometimes the swelling remains. Since it is not growing in size or any other symptoms, u don't have to worry.
