I have a swollen lymp node in my neck and it's very tender and painful I've been treating it with warm compress but what can I do to get rid of it completely?

As per your description you might have reactive lymphadenitis..it occurs due to some infection/inflammation in the surrounding areas.. visit an ENT specialist for opinion..
