Swollen ankle with pain
Hi doctor.
My mother aged 56y is complaining ankle pain with swollen ankle also little bit knee pain.some time ankle pain is very sharp.
She does not have other health complications like sugar,bp etc.
Kindly which test to be done to identify exact illness.

Hello sir. Swollen ankle and pain in the ankle may be due to inflammation in the ankle joint which may be due to many types of arthritis. A detailed evaluation is required for proper treatment. A photograph of the involved region will also be helpful.
