Kindly find attached photos and identify whether is it swollen lymphnode or soft tissue swelling??? upon identifying swelling, redness and pain in that neck area as in attached images, started antibiotic zifi 200 cv & painkiller zerodol sp twice daily after food and after 8 days of taking the same, yesterday pus formed in that swelling and slowly started coming on its own and later by squizzing, tried to remove all the pus and applied betadin ointment around that region and now due to removal of some pus, that swelling is slightly reduced. But still I am little confused as this is lymph node swelling or soft tissue swelling? and should continue same antibiotics & pain killer for a few more days for complete recovery in swelling or should go for FNAC ,USG and CBC blood tests to identify the cause and modify the course of treatment accordingly??? Thanks a lot all the doctors for your valuable suggestions

You need a thorough physical examination to look for other lymphnodes in the adjoining area to rule out tubercular problem. Pus discharge may be sent for AFB staining. It is not advisable to carry on with self medication.
