My baby is 1.5 year old and got 2 vaccination Flu and PCV on 4th June. On one thigh the spot was reddish for 1 day and swelling is there (hard lump type). I used to pour hot water while giving bath. As you are telling that injection site is reddish then don't pour hot water it may flare up inflammation.you can give anti-inflammatory after tele consultation.
Normally these vaccines should not produce a swelling like this and if it is persisting even after 5days, it needs to be seen by a doctor.
He may prescribe anti-inflamatory and antibiotic if neccessary.
