I am having swelling in my neck just below tha jaw adjescent to the foodpipe. I get these swellings many a time. It ends after few days. But the pain is unbearable.

As per your description it could be submandibular salivary gland swelling/lymphadenopathy/branchial cyst.. need to be evaluated by local examination.. visit an ENT specialist for opinion..
