Is the swelling on both the sides or only on one side? If it is on one side then the reason is different from if the swelling is on both the sides. If the swelling is on both sides It may be due dependant oedema, for which you should ensure that you are not standing or sitting at a stretch for long duration. There may be other reasons also. It will be better if you can consult your doctor who will have to examine thoroughly and may be certain tests will be required to be done before a conclusive diagnosis can be made.
