Swelling in Foot Joint
My mom is having swelling in foot joint and having pain. Weight is 85kg and she start walking for almost 1km from last 10 days to reduce weight but she is having pain in foot joint and swelling after that and difficulty to walk because of swelling. Could you please suggest what need to be done to reduce swelling and pain.

Hello... At this age it is more likely that she is having arthritic joints i.e. weakness in bone and joint which maybe causing pain and swelling in the foot. Also, she might have lumbar spondylosis causing pain and swelling in lower limb. So, you need to visit any orthopedician or physiotherapy clinic to get diagnosed. Till then ask her to keep her leg raised & avoid long standing position. Take breaks during walking, don't complete in a single go. Do stretching exercise for calf and hamstring muscles. Also, do strengthening exercise of quadriceps (front knee muscle). For better understanding of these exercises visit to physiotherapy centre.

Hello sir ...first reduce pain than start weight loss program...For sweeling just keep your leg on pillow for 30 min twice a day...apply ice in affected region and together start physiotherapy for better health ...thanks

Due to over weight and a check up of thyroid and vit dtk diet plans and apply ice pack on swelled area do stretching exercise tk calcium supplements and tk vit b12 and also Tk physiotherapy help to reduce pain and swelling
