Swelling in finger
My father is a farmer and he has been suffering from pain on his middle finger due to some swelling. Neither he got injured nor bitten by any insect. Please suggest me, what it could be or is it serious issue?

Consult a Rheumatologist and physician. It can be chronic infection ? Hansen related ? Fungal ? Tubercular. It needs to be evaluated properly.

Patient should be investigated for diabetis mellitus.
