Swelling in elbow joint

Asked for Female, 5 Years

Yesterday evening, My daughter fell on grass while running. She fell on one elbow. She had pain. We put ice pack and she slept. She still cant move it. We gave pain killer ibugenic. We see some swelling. Please suggest.

Go for an xray immediately, don't take a chance. Kids now a days have deficiencies like that of Calcium and Vit D. So falls can cause fracture. Once you have ruled out any bony or ligamentous injury , conservative management at home should work fine.
