Swelling in big toe
Hello doctors, My husband has swollen big toe for 3 weeks. When consulting doctors they said it's paronychia and needs antibiotics. After antibiotics and soaking in hot water daily, he is still unable to walk and pain is severe at night. Is there any natural remedies to treat paronychia? Please advise. So far in the last 3 weeks it's only swelling and pain. No inflammation visible or no pus coming out. Nails are clear. No color changes. Thanks Anitha

occasionally ingrown toe nail could cause severe pain without any inflammation. You can upload an image of the same. Application of turmeric powder paste may help relieving the pain.

To get the better treatment plan or management of the disease along with second opinion kindly always prefer video consultation . A video consultation is best for better understanding the disease and to explain the prognosis

Patient's detailed medical history is required. It is recommended to consult a doctor professional through the Practo app or visit a local medical facility for a thorough evaluation. Please keep in mind that detailed medical history is crucial for proper diagnosis and treatment.
