Swelling and pain after IV removal

Asked for Female, 27 Years

I recently had a surgery and was discharged on 31st. However since yesterday, there is a slight swelling on the vein, the part where the IV was connected and it has become extremely sensitive and painful. I tried cold fermentation, hot fermentation but it doesn't quite help. What should I do?
