Swelling & Pain Post RCT
My mother's dental bridge (lower posterior) was remade & replaced as one tooth was rotten because old bridge became open & came out . My dentist just cut the tooth ( no anesthesia) and put the new bridge. It's 7th day she developed swelling - pain for the rotten tooth why is this?! What has to be done she is diabetic too

I hope the root portion of the decayed tooth was removed before replacing the bridge. Better post an x ray of the area

Hi, Did the dentist do any treatment for the damaged tooth before cementing the new bridge ? Suggest you to go back to the dentist and get an x-ray.
