Hello, i am sweating a lot for the last two days. Night sweats as well. I only have half thyroid. Got operated 10 years back. But did thyroid test, all parameters are normal.

Can I know the reason why ur half of the thyroid was removed at that time , since when disease is restricted to half of the thyroid we try to preserve half of the thyroid to prevent life long medication intake for thyroid , since if whole of it is removed body don’t have any thyroid hormone. Since it’s been a long time may be ur rest half of the thyroid lobe had become over active and u had feature of hyperthyroidism, since excessive sweating is a feature of hyperthyroidism. R u experiencing any other symptoms beside this , what about ur heart rate , sleep pattern , appetite etc. Kindly consult with detail history
