Suspected dust allergies
Hello doctors, I was diagnosed with dust allergies by my family doctor, although no allergy test was done as such. I was prescribed Bilazest 20mg in January of 2025 and have been continuing that still. However, Im not sure if this is dust allergy or not, as my body, especially hands, thighs, chest, arms, face and scalp get itchy and red even without touching dust. The part where I itch turned red and swells up as well. Please suggest what this could be? I know I have dust allergy too as dust does trigger it, but do I have some other allergy as well? Also, should I continue bilazest 20mg, even though one tablet every day doesn't help a lot?

If you are having it for more than 6 weeks despite tablet then you may have chronic urticaria Bilastine 20 mg helps but not much relief You have to consult so that more history, other triggering factors can be ruled out and treatment can be given based on history. There are many treatment options available such as AST, inj histaglob along with antihistamines.
