My son fractured his ankle in Cambodia and had surgery at a private hospital in Phnom Penh. He will be back in Australia next week and we'd like to have this checked as there are many bad stories about botched surgery in SE Asia. What would be the best way of going about this?

Get an X-ray done immediately you will get idea about how the surgery took place and whether heeling process started . Have they applied any external fixator or it’s just internal.. once fracture heels completely physiotherapy need to be started .
