Suffering from low self esteem since some months, feel totally worthless, life seems to be falling apart on all fronts- job, marriage, health. Feel sapped out of all energy. Really don't know what to do. Feel suicidal at times but don't have the courage. Kindly advise.

Care AI Shimmer
Hello, The brief description provided by you here is suggestive of an ongoing depressive episode. Depression is a medical illness which affects your emotions, mood, perception of the world and self, and overall judgement. Your negative perception and appraisal of self and your life seem to be coloured by your current state of mind. Other physical symptoms (fatigue and lethargy) etc are also related to the current symptoms. Hence I would suggest that you please seek a consultation with a Psychiatrist near you for assessment and treatment. Please be well assured that your condition can be helped with proper guidance and treatment. Presence of ideas of self harm/suicide are important and possibly dangerous symptoms of depression, hence please do not delay in seeking help and consultation. Hope this helps you. Best wishes for your health and future.
Health Tips
please stay around people who care for you, eg friends, family etc, engage in light physical activity, pursue some hobby, write down your thoughts, maintain regular sleeping and waking times...
