He had a problem of food digestion. sometimes he vomit some food even water too. then i consult a physician. doctor gave medicine and said for endoscopy test. again consult the doctor after testing report. report indicated that he had a 7.3cm asymmetrical thickening in upper and mid part of oesophagus. then doctor referred to dr. brijendra singh, a gastro surgeon in kanpur. he asked for citi scan of chest and abdomen and bronchoscopy test. all reports are normal except oesophagus. biopsy report is yet to come. doctor is 99% sure that this 7.3cm thickening is of cancer. please suggest me as soon as possible. gastro surgeon suggest for surgery that is replacement of food pipe.

The management depends on what is found in the microscopic examination of the biopsy specimens. If it contains cancerous cells then the disease is clinically investigationwise evaluated for the stage of the disease and type the cancer detected. Surgery most of the times forms the mainstay of the curative cancer treatment.
