Hi doctor,
I'm currently 18 weeks pregnant. Wanted to know which sugar test is better ? Fasting blood sugar or GCT ?
Which one should I go for ? Some people are saying that GCT might give false positives results.
Can you please suggest?

Gct with 75 gm glucose should be done at 24 weeks if there is no family history of diabetes
At first anc if there is a family history
Gct will not give false positive
It just shows how ur body responds to a stress of 75 gm glucose
