Diabetes is a complex disorder with various pathogenic mechanisms. There are over 50 diff types of diabetes. The diagnosis can be made only after a thorough history. For a young diabetic like you it's very important to keep sugars tightly controlled to prevent future complications. It's also important to make the right choice of drugs. Otherwise even if sugars are controlled initially the beta cells may fail and you may require insulin soon. One random report isn't enough. You should get fasting and PP sugar levels, preferably HbA1C too and get back with all reports, complete history and medicine details
