Sugar level unstable
My mom has been sugar patient from last 4 years where she only took one medicine valera 1000 mg which controlled her sugar levels but 3 months back due to some issues hospital where my mom got treated for sugar they stopped supplying that medications to thier patients and we took from outside and for some reason sugar dint got in control recently we visited Dr.Mohans coimbatore we went there with entire cbc where as HBA1c was 11 i was tenser but doctor said pancreas is good and no need for insulin they prescribed us tablets named SITARED M 500 MG GLYCOMET 500 mg and VOLIBO 0.2 MG but still empty stomach is 200 and post breakfast 180 and at night before dinner it is 292 my mom is on strict diet and exercise where now she is taking more of fibre than calaories where she has completely stopped rice sugar and maida as well Doctor also had an test of RANDOM PLASMA GLUCOSE TEST WHERE IT WAS 187 then they took fasting plasma was 177 and post plasma glucose test was 241 but still no results

Check her C- peptide. Also start insulin along with oral medicine. Once the sugar is controlled you can stop insulin and depend on OHA. but you need to check
