Sugar level is high
My mother age is 59.she is taking tablets for sugar and bp since 3 yrs.
Yesterday she took blood test.
Result was
Fasting 226 mg|dl
Pp 290 mg/dl.
Currently she is taking glycomat 500mg and amlong 250mg twice a day.
Need to change her medicines??
Pls advice abt her current health cobdition?
Required any insulin injection to control?

Hi
At present her glucose levels are high amd need to increase dose+add some tabs for glycemic control
Follow strict diet and regular walking
Insulin would be needed of she has some infection or wt loss, excessive urination etc
Amlong cannot be 250 must be 2.5mg
Next Steps
Consult a Endocrinologist or Diabetes physician soon
Check Hba1c, s. Creatinine, Lipid Profile and Urine routine test. Get eyes also evaluated. Monitor BP
