Sugar increases after betnosole inject
Today at 12pm my wife got injected with second dose of betnosole injection(12mg) as prescribed by the doctor and she is in her 32 week of pregnancy.. we did the sugar testing using glucometer after lunch at around 4 pm and the sugar level increases to 265 mg/dl.. so do I need to worry about it by getting insulin from doctor or should I wait and check again after few minute.. yesterday she had her first dose of betnosole and today morning her sugar level after fasting is 110 and after one hour of breakfast it was 116.. kindly suggest..

Steroids will lead to sudden rise in blood sugar. Consult with a diabetologist for insulin treatment for blood sugar control.
