Sugar free gum good
Are sugar free gum good for tooth . I am having primary cavity. Is sugar free gum like orbit, happydent good for this.suggest me some steps to stop cavity or reduce its speed

Hi..yes sugar free gums help in preventing cavities but not in tooth having already cavities. Such teeth need fillings. Regards

Hi there ...firstly u need to get the cavity filled...because no paste, creme or any sugar free gum acts when there is an active infection in the mouth... Once the infection is cured...then u can go for GC tooth mousse plus creme to prevent further cavities.. Take care ...!!

Frankly anything sugar free is good for your teeth, caries is an irreversible process so only thing u can do is keep brushing your teeth twice daily specially before going to sleep. To some extent these gums can help you. But to reduce further decay of teeth just keep brushing.
