Suffocation
My friend feel suffocated sometimes.Yesterday,when she was sleeping,in between she felt that her breath was stopped.Once she was eating pani-puri and suddenly for a moment she was like her breath was stopped.Similar things are happening with her from past few months.What is exactly her problem and which specialist doctor she needs to consult??

Hello there.  I can understand your concern.  Your history is not actually sufficient enough to say anything for sure but it could be panic attacks.  I would suggest you get her checked out by a MD consultant physician in person for further evaluation and management.  If all ok from his side, then you can consult a psychiatrist. Panic attacks is a strong possibility. .first meet MD physician to rule out other causes and therafter diagnosis can be made
