Suffering from GERD
I've been suffering from GERD for past 3 yrs... Before 3 yrs, it was reported that there is a "linear erosion seen GOJ at 39 cms" at oesophagus region diagnosed through endoscopy.. I've been taking allopathy treatment for it since 3 yrs...I got temporarily relief but no permanent relief... Whether it is possible to get cured by allopathy treatment?.. How long will it take to get cured... Recently my friend suggested me to take thiripala which is a auyurvedic medicine.... Whether it will work out??? Please solve my problem...

Your reflux needs further evaluation...validity of any endoscopy without any symptoms is only one year....
Next Steps
Get another scopy and ultrasound ..... consult a gastro specialist

You may have a hiatus hernia that needs evaluation. Also a 24 hour ph study.
Surgery maybe a good option.
