You need to get and X-ray chest and an ecg to rule out lung or a heart problem to start with and then other causes can be ruled out . Cough with chest pain can be due to distressing nature of cough causing chest muscles spasm leading to pain . However, you should see a chest physician or a physician to rule out all the causes through proper examination.
