Suffering from acne on back n chest

Hi Doctor, I am suffering from back n chest acne from last 3 years tried many medications but not working. The treatment work only for few days again acne start coming, and it has left many dark patches as well on back n chest. Please advice me the treatment and precautions to be taken to reduce it

You are suffering from what Dermatologist call tropical acne. It comes on the back and shoulder area as red boils which then subside after few days with pigmentation. The treatment is not very complicated. It can be treated with tablets, creams, and soap. Maintanence treatment may be required to cover for recurrence. Please dont apply oil on your head.
