Suddenly my Pt Inr is low
I am taking a blood thinner, Acitrom 2 mg due to clot in right atrium and had open heart surgery in 2018 since I always maintain a INR level 2.0-2.5. Recently, with no changes to dosage and zero Vitamin k consumption, its has suddenly dropped to 1.7 which is dangerous I think. What could be the reason. This has never happened before in past 5.5 years. I have now increased the Acitrom dosage to 3 mg and doctor advised to recheck after 15 days . After how many days shall I go for PTINR test to see an increase.
