Safety of Sputnik v with blood thinners
Hello,
My father is 70 years and had aortic valve replacement in 2005. He is on blood thinner acitrom 3 mg. Can he take sputnik v vaccination? Thank you.

See PT/INF test values before vaccination, if normal can get vaccination, if high consultation of doctor before vaccination

Since his age is 70 years and known cardiac patient he has higher risk of covid . The risk related to vaccination is too small though he is on blood thinners. I recommend vaccination for him .

Get his INR test done. If the value is below 3, he can take the vaccination. Otherwise consult.
