Hi,
My son fell down from the stairs in school few days back. He slipped at the beginning of the stairs and reached the last step very hard. He does not know how he moved through the stairs. Luckily he remembers that he did not hit his head. No one was nearby. He was numb for some time and later he managed to get up himself. He had severe pain in the back and lower body. There was no swelling that day.
Even after 4 days now, though his discomfort has reduced, he still has spark like pain around the back bone at certain postures. Is this a normal recovery or is there a need to consult s doctor? Kindly suggest.

Looks like a muscular pain around the spinal area due to direct trauma. Although it is most likely nothing, I would suggest you see an Orthopaedic surgeon at your home town just to rule out.
