My grandad was found unconscious in his bathroom after 24hrs as he lives alone, after Ct scan it shows a minir blockage in some nerve which is totally fine as per his age. But that isnt the reason for his unconsciousness they're assuming he might have respirated his own vomit while in the washroom i need help with some advises about his well being.
They delayed considering him for a ICU bed they say we might have missed the golden hour. Im not sure what to do.
The neuro-surgeon hasnt commented about any surgery or treatment but the factor of lungs can be taken care of by Antibiotics, im nit how he is still unconscious. Please help me with your insights

Is it possible to get the CT scan results. One possible scenario is that if he fell in the bathroom and hit is head and developed concussion and traumatic brain injury due to which he lost consciousness and later developed aspiration pneumonia. It would be important to make sure there is no subsequent hematoma that develops. He regaining consciousness depends on the diagnosis and extent of his injury.
