Stubborn chest pain and asthma

Asked for Female, 20 Years

I have been suffering from asthma for a while and I have been prescribed seretide evohaler. While this medicine helps me stabilise my breathing a bit, there is always chest pain and congestion which is not removable by even home remedies and adequate exercise. This is becoming worse over time. Please advice which medicine or what to do?

Hello maam. For how many times in a day do you use the inhaler. ? Since how long have you been using the inhaler and having this issue? I would suggest you to continue this inhaler for twice a day everyday for a month and repeat a PFT. Provided you have a basline PFt values. Thank you
