GERD can absolutely cause chest tightness and wheezing — called extraesophageal GERD. Burning all day despite medications suggests the acid suppression may not be optimal or there's a hiatal hernia involved. The hand/feet numbness separately suggests Vitamin B12 deficiency, very common with long-term acidity medications (PPIs deplete B12).
Next Steps
Get Vitamin B12 levels checked. Sleep with head elevated (2 inch block under bed head). Avoid meals 3 hours before bed. Consult me on Practo for a detailed treatment review — may need dose adjustment or endoscopy.
