Struggle with Hair Loss
Dear Doctors, Age: 24 Problem: Hair loss and thinning. Hair density getting lesser with time. Hereditary: Father is not bald but has less density issue. Profession: IT professional, stressed life. Lifestyle: Irregular timings. Sleeps at 4-6 in the morning. Total 6-9 hours of disturbed sleep. Skips breakfast. Lunch at 3 PM and dinner at 10 PM. Have consulted few doctors before who suggested using mynoxidyl solution along with vitamin supplements. I always complete the course and then discontinue as the effects are not visible to my naked eye. I really want your suggestions on whether I can stop my hair thinning and hair loss. And more importantly if the above mentioned life practices impact the hair loss in any way and if you strongly recommend to change them. Also do I have to continue serum treatment to prevent hairloss? Thanks in advance and hope this helps other stressed IT professionals.

Hi, it is indeed no surprise that you have hairfall and thinning issues. Your unnatural lifestyle has given rise to excess hairfall resulting in thinning. This can all be reversed. But no treatments will work until u change your lifestyle. First of all stop sleeping like an owl. Eat and live during normal human hours. Be in direct sunlight every morning between 7 and 8. Once you are able to do the above then you  are eligible for proper hair growing therapies. If you need any further information then connect with me via juvenis clinic.

This is male pattern baldness also known as Androgenetic Alopecia. You are a combination of your parents genes, not necessary that you will get a hair growth pattern exactly like your father- hence this has started sooner for you than it did for him. Lifestyle contributes to some extent, but only lifestyle correction will not reverse this once it is triggered
Next Steps
Minoxidil solution must be applied in the right quantity and strength- maybe one of these parameters is incorrect and that could be why you haven’t seen results. Minoxidil solution has to be applied LIFE LONG (or as long as you’d like that crop of hair on your head). You might also need oral DHT blockers/ other oral meds to boost the growth.
Health Tips
You have a good head on your shoulders, make sure there’s good hair on that head too. Consult a dermatologist timely.
