It’s normal for kids to have a liking for sweet food. Fruits won’t harm your child. But remember to add protein source in each diet. Food preferences would keep changing with time.
U can add fruits in the meal and it won’t harm the baby. But can’t be continued this way as she won’t adjust to proper diet. So, start reducing the fruit quantity in each feed slowly or to alternate feeds.
That us totally normal. Some children have preference and that is according to their taste buds
Eventually they’ll start eating everything, but for now there is no problem if you add them in all 3 melas
No need to worry. Children naturally are attracted to sweet taste. If you are able to give sufficient protein in the diet there is no harm. Fruits or any natural food products do not do any harm if taken in moderation. Always taste and appetite are the best guides for infant feeding. Nature will take care of the body requirements. Cravings is a way for compensating deficiency also. Obviously children don’t like bland foods and spit it out. Nature is the best guide for good nutrition if balanced diet is offered.
Greetings
It is completely normal for a 13-month-old baby to prefer sweet tastes like fruit and go through a phase of spitting out savory meals.Adding whole, fresh fruits like mango or banana to all three meals will not cause diabetes or spike blood sugar unnaturally. However, relying only on fruits mixed into savory foods blocks her from learning to accept and enjoy distinct, complex savory flavors.Instead of masking everything with sweet fruit, try serving tiny amounts of regular savory food alongside her favorite fruits on a divided plate.Keep mealtime reactions neutral when she spits, as showing worry or force-feeding can accidentally reinforce the habit.
This is a very common phase at this age. Fruits can be added to meals and will not cause diabetes or high blood sugar in a healthy child. Try not to depend on fruits in every meal—keep offering regular foods (dal, rice, vegetables, eggs, etc.) without force. Many toddlers need repeated exposure before accepting new tastes. If weight gain is good and there is no choking or vomiting, this is usually a behavioral feeding phase that improves with time.
