Strange RBC enlarged spleen
I have had low ferritin for two years and mildly enlarged spleen. I also have ITP for 15 years and outside of pregnancy I'm stable it 100-120 with out treatment. My blood smear shows mild anisopoikilocytosis. However my CBC is fine except my platelets which is not related. I'm exhausted my bone marrow biopsy is normal. I do note a lower RDW at 10.5. Is there concern can the abnormal sizes and shapes somehow be related to the spleenomegaly? My Doppler abdominal ultrasound is normal. Help

Hi dear. Yes it's something related to splenomegaly. How many weeks of pregnancy is going on and it's great that Doppler are ok . Can continue with pregnancy till Doppler are ok. Your doctor has to look after this anisocytosis and low platelets. You may bleed during delivery
