Stopping trifluoperazine
I am taking desvenlafaxine 50mg twice,rivotril 0.25 mg twice and trifluoperazine 1mg once at night since about 2 years i was suffering serious anxiety and panic problems along with severe irritable bowel syndrome however since started to take treatment it is very much controlled however i feel lots of sleepiness cannot wake up early my psychiatrist try to cut clonazepam doses many times but whenever i reduce the dose i feel restlessness and he even tried to stop trifluoperazine which resulted in uncomfortable feelings my doc said trifluoperazine has no withdrawal symptoms but i experienced return of anxiety symptoms i want to cut down my meds even my doc tries but i am not able to kindly suggest

Hello, If you are doing well on treatment... U should continue. When you plan to stop the medication you should decrease the dose very slowly and tolerate withdrawal symptoms for few weeks.
