Stool softener
Hi, visited doctor for another issue a while back but forgot to get recommendation for stool softener. Baby has constipation and does not drink water if try to increase consumption. Watermelon helps. Any recommendation for stool softener.

Constipation at this age is because of not adding fibre in diet. You should reduce milk content and increase solids and semisolids in diet. Stool softeners can be given for acute problem.
Next Steps
1. laxopeg sachet 8.5 g dissolve in 100 ml of water and give at night for 2-3 days. 2. Reduce milk to 2-3 times per day 3. Give semisolids/ solids for 3-5 times per day with 3 major meals and 2 snacks. 4. Include green leafy vegetables with dal rice, add fruits for snacks. 5. Increasing solids with definitely increase the water demand and thereby treating constipation
