Stool problem facing very much
Hello doctor, Mera name Mohit soni hai and i am 19 years old. I started this problem since Lockdown started. When I take food, it goes from stomach to intestine to digest but then after that it does not  goes from intestine to the bottom intestine or a large intestine. And neither do I feel the pressure, because of this I do not get potty for 3 to 4 days.So I have to drink a medicine 3 spoon so that the stool becomes like a loose motion. And because of the lack of potty, I do not feel hungry. The gas passes from stomach only.So I sometimes feel that there is a block somewhere in my intestine and but when I take medicine, after passing the stool it seems that there is a no block. When I do not get potty for 3 to 4 days, then I drink hot water again, which keeps it thin inside the intestine, which is a little bit closer pass stool. That's why i can't eat anything So what do i do.

Hello, I am Dr. Charles Mano Sylus, consultant General and Laparoscopic Surgeon in Fortis Hospital Vadapalani Chennai and I can Help You. You have beautifully presented your case, and it looks like more of constipation related issues. First of all in order for stools to be soft and pass freely the amount of water you need to consume is around 3 Litres minimum and plenty of high fibre diet of fruits and green leafy vegetables like a big bowl per day. If you do this life style modification daily, for sure your stool problem will get solved. Secondly, if it doesn't solve your trouble, then you do a few blood tests to see your electrolytes, thyroid, sugars and if needed a CT abdomen or a colonoscopy to rule out any problems with the large intestine. Hope this was helpful.
